We had a clear out in the loft and found an old BT Home Hub 5 that's been there for a couple of years (before the mandatory return process began). I have been searching the BT website for instructions on how to send this back but I cannot find any instructions. The only instructions I can find are for the current mandatory return process where you have a bag/box to send it back in. These don't work for me as I don't have the bag/box and none of the helpdesk options appear to cater for my scenario.
I would rather return the Home Hub to BT for recycling than just throw in the bin.

You could just take it to your local recycling centre.
you can phone CS 03301234150 and request a return bag
Thanks. Went for option 3 on the broadband option to speak to someone about orders as none of the options were an exact fit and the lady has arranged for a bag to be sent out to me
I've tried the number but none of the options applied to a request for recycling bags. I now have 2 old home hubs and a digital phone to recycle. Hmm....
