Bt team giving us false info

We  called up bt yesterday  and they said we still cant upgrade to the 900 i made a enquiry to open reach got a reply. Open reach checked our line and say we curently have 330 and the max downstream to our house is 1000  and why want bt upgrade us? 

If bt dont want to upgrade  there customers even though  we even been told by open reach we  can get the max down stream of 1000 i got offered 1000 down and 115 up else for the same price

• Yep we called them on monday so i  made a enquiry with open reach  was surprised to get a quick reply back on what speeds we can get and also alot of other isp also say the same speeds
