a contractor enginer came to sort out my line but as i am a retired enginer myself i knew more than him . he tried everything in the house but failed to improve my speed and snr so kicked the job back . i then had a call from a lovely girl to find out what was wrong , after some time she arranged for someone to come i made sure it was an openreach one not a contractor . the guy turned up a few days later (worked with him for years) and he reset the line and once the router came back into sync everything was back to normal router in sync as 78meg data rate 75 and noise margin 6.1 and it all took 8 mins from arriving to leaving

It should be so simple but it isn't. I received a feedback text after the "engineer" left. It's not going to be pretty...
Finally got the DLM reset done Saturday, everything working fine now. Thanks for your help Matt.
