I was wondering if anyone in this community have heard about FTTP coming to Wishaw as FTTC sucks..Although I did speak to someone 3 weeks ago that were working outside and apparently they did mention that they are about to start working on FTTP but I havent seen them since then..lol

Kind regards

Re: BT Full Fibre both available and unavailable at the same address

Hi there.

Sorry to bother you but in my area in Wishaw we can only get FTTC as of now..How do I go about looking into the government voucher scheme?

Kind regards

Re: BT Full Fibre both available and unavailable at the same address

I have moved your post to start a new thread as it has absolutely nothing to do with the thread you posted on and will just cause total confusion.

Re: FTTP coming to Wishaw?!

Wishaw is on the Roll Out List to be done by the end of 2026, which basically means it could be anytime between now and December 2026.

https://www.openreach.com/fibre-broadband/where-when-building-ultrafast-full-fibre-broadband

Although that doesn’t necessarily mean every Home/Business will get it. When Openreach create work orders for PON’s a budget is set for each THP, usually around the £250 - £300 mark. If it can’t be brought in on that they may Descope it until the end of the build to see if they have saved money on any other PON builds.
