Re: FTTP installed but ONT PON still flashing... HELP!

I know. I am not sure what to make now of what they have told me. Clearly something else at fault here...

But what?

Yeah, guess it's out of my control and I will just hope the OR team can resolve it.

Re: FTTP installed but ONT PON still flashing... HELP!

I had same problem several weeks ago! Even BT know that usually failure to activate a line is usually the call centre having the incorrect ONT serial number. The unique number is on the front of the ONT. BT should be able the confirm the number the installer was trying to activate. Make a note of this and call BT.

Re: FTTP installed but ONT PON still flashing... HELP!

I seriously doubt it’s an ONT Serial Number Mismatch.

You live on a Brownfield Site so the Engineer would’ve had to physically bring the ONT and Scan it there and then on site.

I bet it’s routed to the Wrong SASA, which would mean it’s on the wrong Head End Port.

Would that be a big job for Openreach?
