Fibre broadband
VOL***-************* relates to a slow speed fault on our FTTC connection. Openreach and the BT bot say there is a network issue which they are working to resolve. Curiously, checking the associated phone number says there are no issues!
Fault checker says they have removed my right to leave without penalty as they cannot check my speeds and that they will contact me to resolve this - they didn't! (I'm not using a BT router which is probably the cause but a can swap to a BT hub if required! I have screenshot my speeds which have dropped from 55 to 41 then to 25 and currently 17!
Is there any way I can forward these screenshots for Openreach to see?

No. All you can do is tell your CP who in turn could tell Openreach. Not that it’d matter anyway as I can guarantee with 100% certainty that info will not be passed on the Engineer assigned with fixing it.

Re: Fibre broadband
When faults like this are sent to Openreach, they can take a few days to investigate and fix, you should get a text to advise this. Lat time I had it it was like 4 working days. After this I would suggest running a test to see what your speed is would suggest using this one:
BTW Performance Tester
Any other issues you would need to contact BT but you would need to connect your BT HUB before doing that so they can test it:
Fix broadband | BT Help
If you think my response has been helpful, feel free to give a thumbs up

Re: Fibre broadband
The BT Wholesale Performance Tester was de-commissioned on the 10th January 2025.

Re: Fibre broadband
Got a text today Friday 17th to say issue was resolved (it wasn't! Speeds up to 38 last night then back down to 11 this morning!) Guarantee is 45 so replied to the text and got a phone call from a "guide" who said they will put it back to Openreach.
