New full fibre install

Go to solution

Hi I had the fibre 900 broadband installed today my download speed is  947mb which is great but my upload speed is only 20mb.  Is this normal or is it being capped for some reason. The engineer who installed it today said I could expect something in the region of 100mb.

any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

What speeds have BT stated as being supplied if it falls below the minimum you can certainly log a fault/compaint.

My minimum speeds are 700mb on the download and 10mb on upload.
I’m not below either but thought the upload would better.

Up speed should be about 110mb. Just leave it for a few days but no improvement after 3 days connected then post back and can see if forum mods can help

There are similar posts where speed sorted itself out
