Using own router

Just got set up today for full fibre 900 changed own router settings to PPPoE and all working fine speeds fluctuating but think this is expected. Can anybody tell me if I need to change any of these settings such as

VLAN ID 

SERVICE NAME

Service name is not required, VLAN ID is a modem function and is taken care of in the ONT. So, no, you don't need to change any settings.
