Contract ending - mobile

Go to solution

My mobile contact ends in two weeks. I’m moving network so do I just request a PAC?
Only moving on as I don’t get a signal indoors - have to walk up the road! Probably one of the few places EE don’t get to but Vodafone is great

Hi @Bobfreeman, thanks for your post. You will need to give your new provider the PAC or STAC switching code, so your old and new providers can make sure there is no double payment.

Check out: Switching mobile phone provider - Ofcom

Thanks for the quick response. Sorry to be a bit slow with this but do I request the PAC after my contact end date or can I do it before and wait until the end to use it? Just trying to avoid any cancellation charge but also trying to avoid another "rolling contract" charge as well as avoiding the loss of calls (I use my phone primarily for work)

Hi @Bobfreeman, thanks for posting back. Once requested a PAC is valid for 30 days. Therefore you can request it beforehand and use it after the contract has ended.

For BT Mobile: BT Mobile PAC code | BT Help

EE: What is a PAC code and how do I request one? | Help | EE
