Hi @Blowerbwfc welcome to the community and thanks for posting, I'm sorry to see you're unable to claim your reward card, I can assure you it's not a scam.
The most common problem is that the new account details have been added to a BT ID that also has an old account number associated with it. When claiming in MyBT are you ensuring to choose your new account from the drop-down?

Just to confirm that your reward has been claimed and will be with you within 30 days after your service is activated.
