Can someone confirm that my account has been closed and internet stopped as asked for. Atrocious customer service and the customer service guy on the phone trying to tell us we can't leave within the first 14 days of our contract. I think you will find we can with zero penalties. Product not fit for purpose, oh your Openreach Engineer left all of the old copper wire in our garden as well. We are within our rights to charge you for removal of this.

We have already called up and cancelled on the telephone. We were meant to be receiving a bag to send the equipment back but as yet have not.
We cancelled over the telephone and had an email stating that the service would be cancelled. We were told we would receive a bag to send back the equipment but have heard nothing and the service still looks like it is running according to the my account section. We have already packed up the router etc and have no plans on using the internet with BT. I want confirmation of it being cancelled please. Can a staff member check our account and confirm and let us know when the bag for return of equipment will be dispatched. Just want it gone now. As for the cable being dumped in our garden by openreach there is no option to complain other than by post which I can't do as I don't have a printer as I am disabled. The customer service representative was rude and vile and needs retraining as he didn't know what he was talking about.
The same day the service went live on the 5th December was the day we cancelled.
