Trying to help my elderly brother renew his BT Package, he has no idea of contract lenght etc

Now when i hit that Renew icon :
(a) will it display a breakdown of what we are renewing (Broadband/Phone/cost etc) and the contract lenght
Then I get the option to continue and Renew
(b) Just renew and no going back - this is what I do not want

You will see a breakdown of what you are renewing.
It is better though to renew your package by phone as you will usually be able to get a cheaper deal than doing it online.

try phoning the options team 0800800030 and see what they will offer you if you don't like it don't accept and try again in few days as offers change frequently
When you phone the Options/Retention/Loyalty team on 0800 800 030,dont be afraid to haggle and to refuse any offer you are not happy with. You may need to ring several times to get the best offer (and in my experience, later in the week seems to be better as well!!)
