Defaulting to old account

I’ve just signed up for broadband and TV. When I log in to My BT, it is defaulting to an old closed account, not my new account. Looking for some help to delete this old account. Thanks

Welcome to the BT Community and thank you for your post!

I am sorry that your BTID is defaulting to an old closed account when you log in.  The community wouldn't be able to help with this and direct help from BT is needed in this instance.  Do  you want to give our guides in the helpdesk a call?  You can reach them by calling 0330 1234 150.  I am suggesting this as we are a small team and it would be next week before we would have the chance to pick up your case.  Calling our guides would resolve this sooner.

Phone CS 03301234150 or you can try Billing. https://www.bt.com/help/contact-bt/account-and-billing/broadband

They should be able to help you
