Full Fibre Boost.

Go to solution

I have just had Full Fibre installed and chose Fibre 100 with a free month of Fibre 500 boost. I still have 28 days to run on the 500 boost but checked on available packages today. This is rather confusing, does it mean if I renew now at existing price on Full Fibre 100 I will continue to get the boost past the free month period or I should choose the Full Fibre 500 for £10 extra? I'm guessing the latter but the website images are rather confusing?

Hi @highnoon1966

Thanks for posting I think you might be right.

If you click on the option to renew this would start the order but would give you details on the speed as part of the order without having to submit it.

I am thinking the same as you though it's most likely an extra £10 for the extra speed.

Thanks

Stuart

Thanks @StuartH

I did as you suggested and started the order and as suspected it is the Fibre 100 speeds of 150mbps download and 30mbps upload that came up during the order process. I cancelled order so as not to loose the 28 days of 500 boost, wonder if I leave it until nearer the end I might get a more favourable offer than the £10 extra for Fibre 500?

Re: Full Fibre Boost.

Hey @highnoon1966,

If you find that you like the higher speeds, it is worth checking it again when the boost is about to run out.

Let me know how you get on, please.

Thank you

Will do @DanielS

Although I'm not that hopefull as the 900 mb price has already gone up by £2 in the last 24hrs.

Hey @DanielS

Into the last 6 days of the boost and no better deals offered by BT, the difference in prices compared to what a new customer would pay are large despite BT saying I would be paying no more than a new customer.

The packages shown to you are for the broadband and also halo 3 +add-on, where as the new customer ones are for broadband only which is invariably a lot cheaper.
