I have been trying to add the x box game pass, I keep getting the same reply for a few weeks now saying the system is under maintenance suggesting I contact by phone, but from experience, phoning will be a lengthily ordeal, is it likely the system maintenance will conclude anytime soon, or is it just not possible to register the pass through the BT site?

Thanks for the reply, I understand the site is a problem for registering the game pass now from reading through the post, they make it sound so simple to do, I don't know why BT instruct you to follow this process on their site to register, if they know they wont actually allow you do this, it would more honest if they simply stated the only way to register the game pass is to phone the number, it almost feels like a marking ploy.
Microsoft do not wish us to register ourselves.
It must be done by a person from BT so you must call them the whole joining bit on the webpage is a lie.
I did it the Sunday before last and spent nearly an hour on the phone with an excellent member of staff.
She said I will be emailed the activation code within 7 days, it was of course nonsense and I still have no code.
I do not blame the member of staff I spoke to as they went above and beyond to find out what was required as it appeared nobody bothered to inform them that they must do the application for us.
I will try phoning again tomorrow but I am now of the opinion it is false advertising to get people to upgrade, pretty poor from the market leaders 😞
