Home move

Go to solution

I am moving house to place with existing bt broadband via fttc. However bt have said they need to install fibre cable for my connection . It will take a month. Will i be able to access internet on existing fttc line whilst i wait for cable to be installed? TIA

@cooperged2

The existing FTTC would be ceased so you would not be able to use it.

Its quite likely that all new provisions are fibre only on that exchange, so you will have to wait until its installed. BT will probably offer a 4G mobile hub until your service has been provided.

Use the address checker on the page below, and post the results, but edit out your address details first.

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL

That may provide the answer.
