We are just making some improvements to My BT, so please try again later.
I have been seeing this for the past couple of days, is it actually down for maintenance or is there something wrong with my account.

Sorry that you're unable to view your bills online. Is this a new account and you're not able to view bills since you joined? Or were you able to view them ok until a few days ago?
