Out of contract

My contract with BT recently ran out, looking at options to upgrade, they're nowhere near as good as those available to new customers.

Why can't i get the same deals, when I could just walk to a competitor.   Makes no sense.

Re: Out of contract

Call BT 0800.800.030 and see what you can negotiate. If you don't get a good deal try again later and if you still don't get a good deal be prepared to walk away and join a new supplier.

Re: Out of contract

Think carefully about getting a new Broadband contract it could cost you 3.9%. If you old contract was for CPI rises any new contract will be CPI plus 3.9%. By staying out of contract you avoid the extra increase. This only applies to the Broadband part of your contract as the rest will go up by CPI plus 3.9%.

Keep in mind that if you go out of contract you will loose any discount you may have had while in your minimum term contract and your non contract price will rise by on average £8 per month to what BT has stated is the full, non discounted price of your package.
