What is the solution? I am also having this issue. I had an old BT account number and have recently returned to BT and been given a new one but when I log into myBT it sometimes logs me in with my new number and sometimes my old seemingly randomly and it won’t let me add discovery +

try billing team they should be able to help with removal of old account
