Renewing Contract

Go to solution

Got an email from BT reminding me that my Halo 500 contract is finishing soon. Looked at the options, can't renew that but can get Halo 900 for same price. Opted for that but it insisted on me giving a day and time for an engineer visit. Surely this is just a matter of BT making the required change at their end - can't imagine why a visit would be necessary?

It isn't, it's just a remote configuration change.

Morning @alistair94

Thanks for coming back to the community.

If you get in touch with the broadband team they will look into your renewal and see if an engineer would be needed for the upgrade.

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.

Thanks for the responses. They still say they're coming so I'll wait and see what happens!

Re: Renewing Contract

So, nice guy turned up 5 mins before end of 2 hour appointment window, first question - did you recontract online? He conceded there was nothing for him to do and the appointment booking can't be bypassed online, only if you do it by phone. Total waste of his time. Speed is increased as I identified yesterday. BT need to have a look at their system!
