I got 'slammed' and had my broadband/landline cut off on the 8th November 2022... this was in spite of me having told BT on several occasions that I wanted to keep my services... was reassured that there wouldn't be an issue each time... it still happened. Since then I have been in constant contact with BT... they kept cancelling the 'new' orders... then changed the dates of when my broadband would be restored. I am still without it... I opened a complaint and have added to it consistently. It feels like that I do not get any kind of interaction with BT unless I contact them. The problem was escalated... and I felt that I was getting somewhere... this was approx 2 weeks ago - and they closed my initial complaint without it being resolved. I have been a customer of BT for over 30 years... and feel very unwanted. I recently went onto the Home Essentials package... anyone got any suggestions? I live alone and am pretty much housebound, relying on the internet for grocery shopping etc. I have had to stay with my sister, who lives 20 miles away, as it was impossible to stay at my home... this is not convenient for any of us.
I basked the forum mods to see if they can help or at least find out the problem. They will post here
Hi @VickyS68, welcome back and I'm sorry you've been left without service and haven't been updated on what's happening with the order to reconnect you.
I've sent you a Private Message so you can get in touch with the Mod team and we'll be happy to help you. It may take a few days before we get to you currently.
