TOTAL nonsense and a lie!☝️
This must be reported to Ofcom. This is a blatant lie.
Gross deception and untrue.
Once you have reported it please post back and let us know what the result is.
I was informed by bt chat that 'since very few people use cloud that is why it has been discontinued. We are looking forward to bring the cloud back at a paid price in the future. We will inform our customers when we do'.
DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE WHAT SO EVER?
I suspect that the BT Customer Service rep who gave that piece of information was taking rubbish about a paid for service being introduced if for no other reason than all BT retail customers will ultimately be moved to EE and there will no longer be any BT retail products.
Prior to BT Cloud closing you could pay for more storage if you wanted it. If the rep was correct in what he said, it would have been easy for BT to start charging for storage to all customers with the option that if you did not want to pay for it your storage would be closed. This would have maintained the customer base of those willing to pay but BT obviously did not want to do that.
What a shame if true that bt reps talk rubbish.

Just have a trawl through the forum and make up your own mind.
EDIT: Having scanned through all the messages in this thread you would appear to be the only person who has been told this so that in its self should make you doubt the veracity of what the CS Rep said.
