So, in their wisdom as part of my home move BT cancelled my old account and set me up on a new account. When i set up my new BT ID I used a more current email address as my ID. The problem I have is that my BT cloud sits against my old account and old BT ID.
Is there an easy way to transfer everything on my old BT cloud over to my new one?

It's not possible to transfer BT Cloud to another billing account.
If you want to keep your data, then you will need to download it. Once you’ve downloaded it you then need to set up BT Cloud on the other account and then upload your saved data.
