Norton Anti Virus won't install - keep on being told to download the software

I received a letter from BT stating that I need to install norton anti virus.  I go to the area within BT security, click on install, it takes ages for the download process then I get to a BT norton anti virus page where it says it is active but there's a button that says the software hasn't been installed and I need to try again.  

I keep on going round in loops here and wonder if anyone can help.

All fixed.  Apparently there were some pop up boxes appearing that I wasn't seeing.
