Norton

Tried to do this today. Just get a message "Server Error" so have been unable to move to Norton from McAfee. The process takes me around in a circle with no obvious way of resolving this. Seems to me that this is a very poor process for a multi billion  pound company to have put in place. Is there a simple way for me to unpick all this?

Re: Norton

@RichardFFC welcome to the community and thanks for posting, I'm sorry to see you're having problems upgrading to Norton. Are you using the BT ID that has Account holder status claimed?

To check which role is attached to your BT ID, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to My BT >
  2. Click on Your details and Account
  3. Scroll down and you’ll see if you’re an Account holder or Account manager

If your BT ID is linked to more than one account number, it's possible to have a different account status for each account.

Thanks

Neil

Re: Norton

Neil, thank you, not sure I fully understand the subtleties here, but I've checked and I am the Account Manager. What do I do now?
