Parental controls

Hello,

I have discovered that my BT parental controls are no longer working reliably. They can also be bypassed by using “private/incognito browsing” which seems unacceptably easy. Is it possible to fix this?

Parental controls rely on devices using BTs DNS servers.

If a user alters the DNS setting on their device, parental controls will not work.

Some specialist routers do have inbuilt filtering features which examine each request and prevent other DNS being used, but these can be complex and difficult to maintain, and are not supported by BT.
