I'm having same trouble, went to change username but got this page

I am sorry to see that you're getting that error message. That usually happens when you're trying to change your BTID username to an @btinternet.com email address. You may have a separate BTID that is used to manage your BT email address. That BTID may have no account linked to it. I'd like to look into this for you and discuss the best way forward 🙂

i currently have bt virus protect on my other devices, however i cant install on my new device as it says to switch to norton and when i click this i get an error message saying my changes cant be saved.
what do i do??
