Hi,
When I record a programme on a particular channel, it appears to have recorded fully.
I try to playback the recording and it shows that the full programme has been recorded, but shortly after beginning playback (2 - 3) minutes - "programme has ended" appears on screen.
If I start to replay again and fast forward past the "trouble spot" the recording continues to play as normal for another few minutes and then repeats "programme has ended"
Any help/advice greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Hi @Desbar, sorry you're having this problem with your recordings.
Are you connected for internet only channels?
Is it only affecting 1 channel and if so what is it?
cheers
John
Hi John,
Thank you for your reply.
Since my original posting yesterday I have made good progress.
I did not think to mention yesterday that I had added a second BT Pro Box to use in another room.
Last evening I disconnected completely one on the boxes and then recorded two programmes for a total of two hours.
Both played back perfectly.
Obviously the two boxes are conflicting with each other.
My terrestrial aerials go into a diplexer and then to a distribution amp, and a separate feed is run to each TV.
I can only guess that the feeds going to each TV are going back to the distribution amp.
My problem now is how to solve this?
Channel 53 is the one causing the problem.
Hi @Desbar, thanks for the update.
Do you have an extra box subscription?
Is the second pro box the Mini box?

Hi John,
I have disconnected second box.
The first box is working perfect, and I only added the second box to use in a different room during winter.
When the weather improves we will move back to sunroom and take first box with us.
Second box was tried just to save removing and plugging in first box (5 minute job).
We can only sit in one room at a time - so no big problem.
Thanks for all your help and advice.
I will close this enquiry now.
