I am unable to watch most HD programmes that I record on TNT Sports, Eurosport and Now as I receive the message ‘Recording unavailable’ error code IPC6041. As an example if I record TNT Sports, I can watch programmes recorded in SD but not HD. It’s a similar result for, for example, Sky Nature and Sky Sports Premier League. However, a real oddity is that I can watch recorded Eurosport 2 HD programmes, but not Eurosport 1 HD programmes.
it doesn’t appear to matter if I record at the time of viewing or from the guide.
I have all the channels included in my package.

Thanks for your reply. I followed the steps but they made no difference.
Actually, I didn’t click on update apps as the software information stated that the last check was today. However, I’ve just clicked to update apps and received a message to say ‘We can’t update your apps’. I’ll try bt.com/tverrors

How is the box connected? Is it wireless or cable? Are you using any extenders or adaptors?

The box is connected by cable to extenders
Not without disconnecting everything and lugging it upstairs, which I would rather not do.
It just seems very odd that I can watch TNT, Eurosport and Sky (Now) HD channels but can’t record (and watch) them with the exception of Eurosport 2. There doesn’t seem to be any logic to it.
I have plugged the BT box directly into the router but it made no difference.
