Re: IPC6023

Thanks @DarrenDev.

I noticed the PON flashing and the backup kicking in about an hour ago.

I've checked the TV and the channel flashed on for about a couple of seconds then went blank and back to the IPC6023 message.

The Standard EE hub arrived this afternoon.

Thank you again for your assistance it is very much appreciated. We are still living in self imposed lock down because of my daughters immune disease and having a severely diminished immune system due to the suppressant drugs she is on, so the TV is a lifeline for us (thankfully the main channels we can access live via apps).

Re: IPC6023

Hi @DarrenDev, can you advise if it's safe to switch to the standard EE hub without affecting the investigations etc into the issue?

Thanks.

Re: IPC6023

I think that'd probably be a good idea at this point @Sirus_Monk - your broadband still isn't as stable as it should be, and your multicast is still missing, so you've nothing to lose.

Re: IPC6023

Hi @DarrenDev,

Switched in the EE smart hub instead of the Pro.

We got TV back for 30 minutes and then back to IPC6023.

Left it for a few minutes and the TV has now come back.

Do you think this a symptom of the poor broadband?

Re: IPC6023

I can still see multiple disconnects of your broadband every day, but they don't coincide with your IPC6023.

I've added more notes to your case, but I have no clue what is going on here - I'll let the experts dig further.

Re: IPC6023

Thanks @DarrenDev

The TV is fine now with the Smart Hub Plus.

Are the disconnects caused by the hub, the modem or the cabinet / exchange? A number of people we know who live in our area have also experienced issues with their broadband over the last few weeks

Re: IPC6023

An update on the ongoing situation.

EE have confirmed a firmware issue with the smart hub pro causing the TV IPC6023 error and believe they have a fix that will be available by the end of the year.

Still using the black smart hub plus and it is now driving us mad. Every day devices reporting no Internet connection though they are connected to the hub, while other connected devices are fine.

Amazon audio products dropping in and out for fun.

So far frustrated beyond belief and desperate for the updated fix for the Smart Hub pro.

Re: IPC6023

Just when you think it can't get worse, it does.

Devices still reporting no Internet while others are fine, both ethernet and WiFi connected. However, new twist, connected devices, like my phone for instance, have increasingly regular times when they are connected, showing Internet access, but cannot load web pages (keep timing out). Switching to mobile data and the pages load instantly.

Never had anything like these issues when under BT. 😔
