Hi,
We just connected to EE broadband with TNT sports.
Connected router and set up TV box. Everything working. Logged into BT, activated Discovery+ sports etc.
TNT is not showing on the EE TV guide?
Got the sports on the discovery app on the TV, and on Laptop, but my 86 yr old stepdad needs it in the guide, otherwise he gets confused and stressed.
Called Help, they said it should be around channel 430, but that doesn't exist on the guide; it just goes from high 200s to channel 555.
We tried unplugging, retuning, but it's still not in the guide.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Oh, apologies.
Thanks, will do.
@Mikebut As you have EE broadband your EETV order will have been processed via EE systems rather than BT systems which is why you are being advised to post on the EE community.
From your description it may be simply a timing issue due to precisely when your EE broadband was activated.
Normally the box would adopt an EETV skin and include EETV subscription channels in the guide based upon a EE or BT broadband being detected. If at box setup your migration to EE had not completed then you would get any Freeview channels but no subscription channels which seems to be your experience. Normally there would be an overnight check or upon startup the next day depending on the box standby settings which would detect the change in ISP and put the channels in the guide. You might then need to go to one of the sports channels and follow a simple setup process. Other possible causes can be if you are using any form of VPN ?
Do you have the EETV app currently showing in the app list on the box ?
Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
No VPN.
No EE app showing as of last night.
I did just read in the EE help site that it could take 24 hours for sports to become active on Youview.
I'm away for a day, so will check when I get back.
