Disappearing emails

I have problems with emails disappearing from the inbox on the second email address linked to my account.  I see them briefly then the disappear but they are still showing on the email app on my phone just not if I log in to emails on my desktop computer.  Can anyone help?  I have important emails that I have to respond to and I need to make sure they stay in my inbox.

Make sure that the "Conversation" View is not active. To do that log onto your BTMail account and click on "View" in the menu bar at the right hand side. Scroll down and Single click "conversation view" to toggle it on or off.

Hi

 

That doesn't seem to make a difference.  I sent a test email and it came in for a short time then disappeared.  All the sent emails are still showing, it's just the inbox is completely empty.  Will it have anything to do with "rules"?

That is a quick reply to my last message!

You need to check your phone's email app to see if it has been set up to delete the emails from the BT server after they have been downloaded to the phone's app.

There will be a setting in the phone's email app "Leave message on server" or  something similar. This needs to be selected other wise once you have used the phone's email app to check for and download any emails they will be deleted after they have been downloaded and as such they will not be available in the inbox when you check on your PC.

Should I wait another four months before I will check to see your reply?
