Email error message 553

Hi All

I, like a number of recent posts,  am struggling with the dreaded error 553 issue when trying to reply to verified contacts.

It is a personal email address and am not logged on via a VPN token or function but via the house WiFi. Emails are received without issue , I simply cannot reply to them from my laptop. If I reply via my phone there is no problem. and the response goes through without issue. If I create an email from scratch to the same contacts that also sends without issue.

Hi @HarryHotspur10 and welcome to our community.

I'm sorry you're seeing the 553 error message. This usually points to content issues but if you're sure there's nothing that would warrant that then it might be worth reporting this to postmaster. Take a look at BT Email - best practices for postmasters and senders of email | BT Help for advice on that.
