New Email Format Keeps Blocking Images

No matter how often, or to which setting,
I change the setting, Allow all images, contacts
only, or all except spam, it only works when I
change the setting, half an hour later, it is back
to blocking all!

Why?

Just checking, are you clicking "Save" after you change it in "settings"?

If you are then try logging out of your email account then clear the history and cookies from your browser then close and reopen the browser and then log back on to your email account and try going back into the settings and reselect the option you want and click "save".

I saved my changes every time that I changed the setting,
following your suggestions, I changed it again to all except
spam, it showed the BT image, that was blocked in the one
that told me you had replied, I am off to bed now and will see
in the morning if there is any change.

Your suggestion did the job gg30340, thank you,
the images are showing, at least, the BT symbol on
the email that I got yesterday, no new mail yet.

OOPS,

That didn't last long, the new system has gone back to blocking
images, I really don't feel like resetting the settings every time
I visit my Email!

Any suggestions other the ones that I have already been given.

Sorry, no other ideas.

It may be that BT have been working on the system fixing some of the other problems and that may have caused some sort of reset. 

Can you try doing as I suggested one another time to see if it works this time.

Thank you gg30340, I clear my cache daily, but I am also logged
on to Email all the time, usually for at least a week until I am asked
to sign again. I will log off tonight after resetting, the block images,
hen see if it works when I sign on in the morning.

I tried to ask BT, via, the "Help" area in BT.com for Email, I couldn't
get anywhere, just round in a circle, back to help, after a few times,
I came back to, "ask the Community".

The images were there when I signed in this morning, but later,
around 11 o'clock, they were blocked again, I reset them, they
were OK, until I came back to the computer at 6:30, so there is
something wrong, with the programme, I have no idea about how
to fix this, I will call them tomorrow and see if they know.

I have had images viewable since my webmail was changed to the new system so I am out of ideas why yours does not stay as selected.

I don't know if the moderators will be able to help but at the least they can pass the problem onto the email team who hopefully will look at the problem and come up with a fix.

The moderators will advise you by posting on this thread.
