Not receiving emails

Hi there

My dad is not receiving email to his BT email apart from those on his contact list. We have tried to send messages to him from other older email accounts to test it and they have not been received and are not going into spam either.

I am a bit confused as to what is going on. He was expecting a few emails from medical appointments he has attended but not received anything through which raised our  concern in the first place.

Can anyone offer any advice? I have checked settings and his blocked senders and nothing is in there.

Am really baffled with what to do to so any advice is welcome.

Hi @Mellymoo4214, sorry you're not receiving all your emails. Check that the domain name has not been blocked as that is sometimes the cause.

Also have a look at: BT Mail problems - I don't seem to be receiving some or all of my emails | BT Help and see if that helps you,

If the above message is not the cause it may be the following.

Is he using a web browser or an email client or app to access his emails ?

If he is using an email client or app it may have a setting only to allow emails in contact list.

It could also be his antivirus that has a similar setting blocking the emails.
