Having been in at the start of this thread I am now bowing out, indeed of BT altogether.
i have tried every permutation to fix the search problem on email. Webmail, app, client etc on multiple devices on strong and less strong Wi-Fi and using every single tip on every forum going. Nothing works, ever, since the roll out. This has caused me a lot of distress in terms for me and and my professional life (unable to access important information and documents) but more fool me for depending on BT.
I have now (pretty much) fully migrated to another email provider and also dumped my BT Broadband for Sky, in anger. I vow never to go near another BT product again in my life and will spend the remainder of my days as a passionate detractor of BT.

Mark, sorry to hear this but I agree, the whole thing's a shambles. And a shambles the customer is paying for, moreover.
Hope things go much better for you in future.
I wouldn’t bother asking for help, as they didn’t do anything and I’m still just as stuck yet they closed the complaint!!!!!
