Advanced Digital Home Phone

Go to solution

Fine for outgoing calls but wont accept incoming calls.  Diverts immediately to answerphone.  I have 2 handsets and when I pick up the 1 it displays "No line".  I can't run the online troubleshooter as the page wont display for some reason.  Can anyone please suggest what I might do to sort out the issue?

Re: Advanced Digital Home Phone

you need to go to MYBT and manage your digital voice as your answering machine is set to answer immediately and you can change to number of rings before answer machine (1751) cuts in

try changing the batteries in the handset with 'no line'

Thank you for your reply. I've changed the answerphone timer settings to 30 seconds but again the phone immediately diverts to answerphone. It does not ring by the way. I'll try changing the batteries but since everything works alright for outgoing calls I don't think that they will be the issue.

Re: Advanced Digital Home Phone

then try

go to  www.bt.com/callingfeatures  then manage and enter account/phone number and you should be able to cancel 1571

the batteries replacement applied to the handset with 'no line'  charging may not help as has been posted before on forum as batteries as no good

Thanks again.  Opening the battery case on the phone was definitely not easy as has been posted by others.
