I renewed my BT contract on 20th June, exactly same as previous, with activation date today 23rd June. However, since 20th June when I did this my Caller ID is not working at all whereas it worked perfectly before and I am getting the message Incoming Call instead even when the caller is in my call directory. Can anyone assist as to why this is happening, as I only get the Ai answering service when I try to message BT.

Thanks for prompt response and helpful suggestion. Yes I followed your link, but this did not solve my problem unfortunately so I think I will try to telephone BT to get fault fixed - as it is obviously their end this problem has arisen.

Latest update - I rang BT on 03301234150 and spoke to a very helpful gentleman who said he could help. In his words he said "when upgrades or renewals are carried out sometimes Caller ID will go wandering" and therefore not work. He took my account number etc., and said that tomorrow all will be fixed and should be working again, so we shall see fingers crossed that this happens. Thanks again for your assistance.
