Digital Voice - Caller ID only working when connected to Smarthub and not via Digital Voice Adapter

I've just been moved to BT Digital Voice. I had already pre-ordered a Digital Voice Adapter, as my main phone connection is not next to my Smarthub.

Incoming and Outgoing phone calls all working fine, but I'm not getting any Caller ID come through for incoming calls.

BT have checked and confirmed it is enabled on my line.

I just did a test with the phone connected directly into the Smarthub and discovered that Caller ID is working fine.

Back to the Digital Voice Adapter, and no Caller ID.

I've seen on BT website there is a newer version of the Digital Voice Adapter now which has rounded corners. Any ideas if this is just a change to the external look or if the electronics inside are improved and maybe might work with Caller ID now?

I tried using an old ADSL filter connected between the Adapter and phone, but that didn't make a difference either.

Any other ways I might be able to resolve?

From previous forum posts using an ADSL filter worked but it appeared that not every ADSL filter worked. Unfortunately it appeared to be trial and error

I've added a BT socket with capacitor onto the output of the Digital Voice adapter, but sadly still didn't work, no caller ID.

Then I would go back to CS 03301234150 and get them to re-activate it explaining what you have already tried
