Re: Digital phone

You need to be more specific about what is not working.
Is it just the ringer that doesn't work, or can you not be heard by a caller and/or the caller can't hear you?
Pretty much any old analogue phone will work when plugged into the phone socket on the Smarthub 2, which is supplied by BT when they move you to DV.
Such phones plugged into BT's DV adapters sometimes don't ring, but this can be fixed by using an old broadband filter unit between adapter and phone.

Re: Digital phone

As @licquorice  asked, where is this phone of yours currently being used and where is it currently plugged in to?

Re: Digital phone

Mine is about 15 years old and does not even have a display to it and it worked once I had the digital voice switchover last week having received the new hub with phone socket in it. Try restarting the modem and check by pasting this in google on your internet access on that line if it says you have digital voice  192.168.1.254  under Phone something will come up eg when my new router arrived a few days before switchover day and internet working it says phone not switched yet and or something like that and then when line enabled that changed.

Re: Digital phone

If you have been converted to Digital Voice, the phone needs to plug into the phone socket on the back of the Smart Hub 2 router.
