I had full fibre installed a several months ago which is working great at 500 mbs. I opted to go for digital voice instead of my landline, BT sent me the two essential Digital voice handsets at the time and when the FFTP was installed my copper line was taken down. I then tried to set-up digital voice with no luck only to be told by someone at BT that Digital Voice is not yet available in my area. The handsets are paired to the new router but all I get is 'unable to make or receive calls' followed by 'no internet available'. A week ago my brother who lives very near had Full fibre installed and he is got Digital voice up and running - how do I check that Digital voice has been activated for me?
Solved! Go to Solution.
go to hub manager 192.168.1.254 into your address bar and you should see your phone number and should say active.. if not try phoning FTTP team 08005874787 and see if they can help
There is a phone symbol in my hub manager with 'Not Configured' ????
try resetting the hub and if still same then phone FTTP TEAM
Thank you, I have rebooted the hub and is just the same so I guess I will have to phone the number you gave me - thank you.
PS I guess I will lose my 30 year plus landline number although not sure if you get the same number for DV anyway, its all way to complicated for me at my age!.
you should still have been able to keep your number when moved to digital voice
