Digital voice only
Hi my mum is moving house. She currently has BT line rental.. old copper analogue version (no broadband at all).
She is moving to house that has already been updated to FTTP/digital voice.
Can she still have just a phone line with no broadband at her new address on DV and will she be eligible for line rental only discount of £16.31? Namely pay £12.09 rather than full £28.40 pcm.

Digital voice is VOIP and currently needs Internet connection to function. anlogue phones over copper are no longer installed by openreach

You will need to call the customer services to find out the options and costs of the phone only package.
I believe 0800 587 0083 is number otherwise the main customer service number is: 0330 1234 150
To note as already pointed out, that new packages will require a move to Digital Voice which will require a broadband connection (however you may just be supplied some form of broadband connection to just allow the phone service to work and may not be activated for other online usage)
As for costs you are best to speak to BT customer services directly.
