Had engineer this pm to switch to digital voice. I gave him my cordless phone and ask him to pair it with the adapter. He plugged my big button phone line to the hub and no ringtone and he told me it needs to be plugged adapter. I told him the big button should be plugged to the hub and the cordless phone to the adapter. He said he usually sets up only one phone and my analogue phone will no longer work. The whole idea was for me to be able to use my own phones . He got annoyed when I was checking the set up on my iPad and said whether am trying to do his job for him. I did make sure both phones were ringing and working before he left.
It is always worth double checking things workmen are doing (in a polite way).
