Halo3, HomeHub3, Digital Voice

Hi,

I currently have Halo3 broadband and prior to that I had Infinity, to which I received a HomeHub3 (type B). I never received a new hub when upgrading to Halo3 and to be honest, broadband is working perfectly regardless.

I am now receiving notifications about Digital Voice, and wondering can I use HomeHub3 to plug my existing phone in? (I do not see a DECT connection, but there is an ADSL connection), or should BT be sending me a new Hub to support the transition to Digital Voice please?

If you don’t have a SH2 , then you should get one as part of the  migration process onto Digital Voice, as a SH2 is required to access it

Thanks for that reply, that's good to know but just a question... are they shipping SH2 to all BT customers? How will they know who requires and who doesn't require... or are they waiting for me to tell them I need it?

People here have told me thst BT can tell whst hub you're using but suppose their records should tell them what hub was originally supplied to you.

@evo17paul you don't need to do anything, a Smart Hub 2 will be issued automatically before the switch over. As part of the migration process, checks are carried out, we can see what Hub is in use and what equipment has been issued to you in the past.
