Is it possible to switch BT broadband but keep the DV landline? Seems few BB providers do telephone lines these days certainly not as cheap as the couple of quid BT currently charge for DV on top of my BB

Unfortunately you won't be able to have your broadband switched to another broadband provider that uses Openreach while keeping your BT Digital Voice service at the same time.
BT Digital Voice requires you to have broadband and router supplied by BT.
There are third party VoIP services that may be more beneficial in what you are trying to achieve. These third party VoIP providers are not tied to who supply's your broadband service
Thanks, thought that'd be the case to be honest. BT charge a pittance for the phone but now out of contract and seems pointless paying more for BB than other providers. TBH I'd happy dump the landline as never use it but the missus likes the fact we still have it.
