Is it possible to have two separate providers in one house

Go to solution

Hi, we already have a broadband provider and phone line in the house (EE). For personal reasons I am unable to cancel or switch services via this phone line. So, I'm looking to install a second broadband service for myself (BT fibre essential) and was wondering if that means having to put in another phone line or if its possible to do it without?

Any help or advice would be grateful, thank you.

It would need a 2nd line installed, if you're choosing BT then order via phone and speak with the 'Sales Support' team to ensure a forced provide is done, the system sales use will prefer a working line takeover which would cease the existing line you said EE currently use.

Hi @LauraR and welcome to our community.

@-Richie- advice is perfect. Call the sales team on 0330 1234 150 and they'll get the order in place for you.

Cheers

Hi there,

YES no prob's.

Either thru BT or like us rural folks we have Gigaclear which @300Mb faster & cheaper than BT, but only get phone via another provider though, so keep BT if affordable. Rgds
