BT sport app

I am hoping that there is someone out there who will be able to help. To put it simply, I am unable to login to my bt sport app (iPhone and iPad) using my BT ID username and password. I can login to my BT account and BT TV app using my login details and can watch BT sport this way but it is frustrating that I can not use the bt sport app. I spent the best part of an afternoon ‘chatting’ to BT online and ended up just going round in circles after having deleted and installed the app and changing my BT login details. The new username and password works for my BT and the BT TV app but not the BT sport app. I was told that the complaint would be escalated but not surprisingly, I have heard nothing. Can anybody help? Thanks

Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience. If you can log into the BT TV app and watch BT Sport then you should be able to log into the BT Sport app. There's definitely nothing wrong with your username and password. The issue will be with the BT Sport subscription itself, which hasn't been applied to your account (the BT Sport app uses a different subscription setup to TV).

This issue needs manual intervention. If it's not sorted already then please send me a DM with the BT ID you're using and your BT account number. I'll get one of my colleagues to sort it.
