Do you have an old/another router you could try? It doesn't have to be a BT one
Unfortunately I don’t have a spare router lying around.
Is there anything I should look for in the logs? Any diagnostics I can try?
I'm amazed @Anonymous hasn't suggested the most basic diagnostic test for a dropping connection.
Do a quiet line test 17070 option 2 best with corded phone.

Good point.
I've seen enough references to it on here so I should have thought of it. My only excuse is that I'm on FTTP with a separate copper circuit for the 'phone line, so it's not a test which applies to me when I have problems with my broadband.
That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
🙂
So, engineer attended, and he thinks it's a problem with the HomeHub. He is going to recommend that it be replaced, but he suggested I contact BT too.
I can't work out from the BT website how to contact anyone to chase this up - clearly phoning is not an option. Any suggestions?
Phoning in is the only option.
Awesome.
