So for me, your line appears capable of being able to squeeze another couple of Mbps download out with a fair wind, but you are clearly capped on a 40/10 profile.
Upload is what it is.
Sky love telling you what the average speeds they offer are, but they buy the cheapest product they can from Openreach based on your Guaranteed Minimum Line Speed. If that is below 40Mbps, they stick you on a 40/10 product and will not change it, even if your line would support a bit more.
Same thing happened to me, turns out I knew what my line could handle, I knew there was a fault and it eventually got me out of my contract with Sky and back to BT.
I could only take Fibre 1 and remained capped at 55/10. I moved to Fibre 2 (for an extra £1 to try and get more upload I was sure was available), but BT kept me on 55/10.
Thanks to a mod here I am now getting the most out of my connection (still only FTTC), so hopefully they can assist you:
have you checked MYBT to make sure it does say fibre 1?
looking at stats your max attainable is 43.7mb and currently on 40mb but interestingly your noise margin is down at 4.4db to get that speed. as you are on Huawei cab your noise margin could drop to 3db to give bit more speed closer to attainable
It looks like you are on wrong profile so I have asked mod to check
Thanks. Yep, I was capped with Sky and from day 1 it was slower than bt had been and less bandwidth. I had hoped (expected) that switching back to BT would remove the cap and give me the slightly faster speed. The daft thing is that if I lived closer to the cabinet I would get much faster speeds and pay the same 🤷
As you say, hopefully I can get help to sort the cap out.
Strangely, I cannot access my current account on mybt. I can see my previous account number and details which ended in 2019 and I can see a bt sport account that I had through EE years ago, but not my current deal!
However, I have checked the contract details that were emailed in Feb and definitely Fibre 1.
Hi @MartinR34,
Thank you for posting. If you send me your details, I'll be able to take a look to make sure your profile is correct.
I have sent you a private message with instructions on how to contact the team. You can access your messages via the envelope icon at the top right of the screen, or click on this link, Private messages
Thanks,

Hi @MartinR34, thanks for taking the time to speak with me on Wednesday. I've got a colleague now to request your profile is corrected to 55/10. This should be completed shortly so please check your connection over the weekend and let me know how you get on.
Cheers

Hi JohnC2
Thanks very much for this. Yes, we are now receiving higher speeds at the hub and no longer appear to be capped at 40.
Thanks for all your help.
