Hi again
A brief summary as to my efforts to sort out my BT package
When I went to renew -
(1) There were no Broadband upgrades available for me.
I am on Halo3 so that is what I was offered which I accepted
(2) I had a 700mins call package but that is not now available
Options were PAYG or UNLIMITED CALLS
I chose Unlimited calls - This will cost me £12/month which is an increase of approx £4/month
This is a DV package as I lost my landline some weeks ago
(3) With regard to my TNT/Discovery+ package there was NO MENTION of it on the RENEW page
so at this time I have no idea what will happen with that
I would like to thank all who replied to my original post
I feel a little less anxious now as I hope my Broadband and calls packages are now renewed
Thank you
Regards
Edward
Hi Colin
Thank you for the information
Could I please ask for more help
At the moment I have the following BT Services -
BT Broadband Halo 3
BT Anytime Calls
TNT Sports/Discovery +
My Broadband Halo 3 needs to be renewed shortly but when I go to do this online through MyBT Broadband
when I get to the renewal screen there is no mention of my Anytime Calls or my TNT Sports
If I proceed with the Broadband renewal what happens to my Anytime Calls and my TNT Sports??
The final renewal screen just shows my Broadband Contract but there is no reference to my Anytime calls or my TNT Sports
Will I lose the Calls and Sport or are they automatically renewed as well?
I am absolutely baffled - Can you help?
Thank you
Regards and best wishes
Edward
i would try phoning retentions and see what you can negotiate including your calls and sports 08007831401
That is why I try to change nothing ever even if I pay more and then there is less chance something will go wrong. It is however unfair that customers who don't shop around or renew to get deals and are just rolling on as I have been for years and years get worse prices.
I have done the same as Jane. I've always had contracts but knew that if I renewed on or before my expiry date on 15th March I'd have to upgrade from ADSL to FTTC/FTTP and DV both of which I don't want until I have to. I therefore ignored all BT sales bullying and told them I'd continue on a rolling monthly basis. I'm on it now and still have my 700 minutes call plan but I'm expecting to pay more but so what.
